Singer-Songwriter

L P  Navon

(Baritone, Guitar, Keyboard, Harmonica)

L P* began songwriting in his mid-teens,

at the tail end of the big Shift called the Sixties.....

Initially influenced in smoky swirls by vibrant folk,

folk-rock, blues, soul, gospel, jazz and country,

he most closely follows in the footsteps of the troubadours,

poetic, psychedelic, populist.

Classical, world, choral and mantra

have also impacted his eclectic style....

Many listeners have said Navon sounds like, and reminds them of,

the incomparably great L Cohen, and others,

such as the spiritual songster C Stevens/Y Islam

and even the great groundbreaker, Mister B Dylan.

Meanwhile other prime influences include,

the infectious craftsman Rhymin' P Simon,

or unique pioneer J Mitchell,

along with....

& more to come....
